The aim of the festival is to bring all South Australians to the event, promote and educate on a vegan, green, compassionate, healthy and sustainable lifestyle. The festival aims to be family friendly with a fun-filled atmosphere.
Goals
- educate on veganism in the aspects of health, environment, and animal rights
- promote a vegan life style and vegan products
- support and provide advice on becoming vegan (and/or a vegan parent)
- promote healthy and active living
- teach vegan cooking
- raise environmental issues - how each of us can save our planet
- raise animal rights issues
Policy
- All products being sold and displayed to be 100% VEGAN
- Environmently positive event as much as possible - Vegan Festival's Actions to be more climate positive
- Stallholders encouraged to be as much climate positive as possible
- A not-for-profit event (we rely on sponsors' genorosity and volunteers' kindness)
Composition of the Festival
- Approximately 60 stalls including; vegan products (shoes, cosmetics, clothing etc), vegan food stalls, animal rights groups, vegan and vegetarian societies, natural parenting stalls, sustainability and eco friendly solutions
- Entertainment including Live Performance, Kids Zone with free activities for children, Interactive Workshops, Cooking Demos, Arts Display, Movie Screenings
- Wheelchair access, smoke-free venue, pet friendly event
