Can you help?

While it is glorious to be out in the sun, Victoria Square / Tarntanyangga is very exposed and we're often asked to have more shaded areas available at the Festival. Unfortunately, our funds can't cover the purchase of extra marquees. Can you help us crowdfund $1,000 to get three shade giving marquees?

V.I.P. Breakfast - Sunday 29 October

Join us for an intimate, fundraising breakfast with Vegan Inspirational People James Aspey and Lynda Stoner, with live music from Madelena, all hosted by the charismatic David Quirk. Tickets are $50 and this exclusive event has strictly limited seating, so book now!

Vegan Festival Adelaide

The Festival is a family and pet friendly celebration and discussion of vegan life. A fun-filled atmosphere is fuelled by guest speakers, live music, cooking demonstrations, hands-on workshops, kids activities, and a diverse array of market stalls of vegan products, vegan food and beverages, animal rights groups, and vegan societies. The Vegan Festival Adelaide is a not-for-profit event and is run by a committee who freely dedicate their time.

The committee wish to thank the generous sponsors, both corporate and individual, without whom the Festival would not be possible.

The Festival aims to:

  • to promote a vegan lifestyle and vegan products
  • to inform visitors about animal rights, health, and environmental sustainability
  • to support and provide advice on becoming vegan (and/or a vegan parent)
  • to demonstrate the scope of vegan cookery
  • to provide the best, 100% vegan products available

Thank you to all those who came to the Vegan Cooking Demonstration. Check out highlights of the event below. If you want more fantastic vegan recipes, make sure you come along to the Vegan Festival Adelaide weekend.

As a preview to the Adelaide Vegan Festival, Jessie from BOB BOWLS Catering CO. and Leonie Wierenga from Purevitalu were at the Community Kitchen to share insights about vegan cooking that is gluten free, allergy friendly, and sourced ethically and locally.

Message from Lord Mayor, Martin Haese

The City of Adelaide is proud to sponsor the 2017 Vegan Festival Adelaide.

Located in the heart of the City in Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga, the 2017 Vegan Festival Adelaide offers two days packed with health and lifestyle information, delicious foods, and live music. The festival celebrates, promotes, and provides education on living a happy, healthy, compassionate, and sustainable vegan lifestyle.

The vegan movement is rapidly growing. It is great to see that many South Australian entrepreneurs have successfully turned their passion into profitable and sustainable businesses and are participating as stallholders at the festival. Thank you also to the many volunteers who have contributed their time towards the ongoing success of this community event since 2007.

I hope you have a fantastic day and enjoy everything on offer.
