A prelude to Vegan Festival Adelaide

Vegan Cooking Demonstration

6:00 - 7:00 pm, 7 September 2018 - Community Kitchen, Adelaide Central Market

Join us at the Adelaide Central Market on Friday 7 September for a Vegan Cooking Demonstration by the super talented creators of delicious and nutritious vegan food BOB BOWLS Catering CO. And, Nathan Bakes will be Producers in Residence at the same time, so we have invited them along to share some tips on the basics of cake making & decorating. Anything that can be made, can be made vegan!

These events have been a huge success each year, with delicious plant based recipes to taste and then try at home. We will upload the recipe at the end of each demonstration so you can buy your fresh produce at the market before you go.

Get in early to grab a seat at the Community Kitchen. (located in the seating area, ground floor Gouger Street side)

Veguastation Dinner - SOLD OUT

A compassion based fine dining experience paired perfectly with locally distilled gin.

Start the festival weekend with a night to feast your senses. There has long been a calling for a high end vegan food so we are bringing it to you with the incredible creative flavours of award winning Sydney vegan caterer, Alfie's Kitchen, in the ultra cool surroundings of Prohibition Gin's Gilbert Street warehouse.

$100 per head gets you an amazing 5 courses tasting menu, a glass of one of Australia's finest gins, and the company of like minded compassionate foodies - and part proceeds will go to this year's animal charities.

7pm, Wednesday 24 October 2018  -  Prohibition Gin, 22 Gilbert Street

Message from Lord Mayor, Martin Haese

The City of Adelaide is proud to sponsor the 2017 Vegan Festival Adelaide.

Located in the heart of the City in Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga, the 2017 Vegan Festival Adelaide offers two days packed with health and lifestyle information, delicious foods, and live music. The festival celebrates, promotes, and provides education on living a happy, healthy, compassionate, and sustainable vegan lifestyle.

The vegan movement is rapidly growing. It is great to see that many South Australian entrepreneurs have successfully turned their passion into profitable and sustainable businesses and are participating as stallholders at the festival. Thank you also to the many volunteers who have contributed their time towards the ongoing success of this community event since 2007.

I hope you have a fantastic day and enjoy everything on offer.
